Mr. Peek currently practices in two of Holland & Hart's Nevada offices, located in the cities of Las Vegas and Reno.
Mr. Peek practices primarily in the areas of Commercial and Business Litigation and has represented a variety of national, regional, and local companies, including hotel-casinos, financial institutions, gaming manufacturers, and suppliers, developers, and contractors in matters ranging from construction lien to labor and employment.
With more than 30 years experience practicing law in Nevada, he has earned a reputation as one of Nevada's premier trial lawyers. He has been recognized by Chambers USA, an independent organization ranking lawyers and law firms, as one of Nevada top attorneys. He has also been included in The Best Lawyers of America, Mountain States Super Lawyers and In Business Las Vegas' Who's Who of Las Vegas.
Mr. Peek has tried more than 30 jury trials in his career. Of note, he has acted as co-lead counsel for the Venetian Casino Resort in a trial that spanned more than ten months - the longest civil trial in Nevada history. In addition to his trial experience, he has argued numerous cases before the Nevada Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on behalf of his business clientele. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Peek was a Deputy District Attorney in Washoe County.
