EXPERIENCE

Mr. Chrisman is an associate at Holland & Hart with experience litigating a variety of complex commercial disputes, particularly disputes involving oil and gas producers. In the past nine years he has been involved in several major Colorado royalty cases concerning market pricing and the allocation of post-wellhead expenses.

In 2009, Mr. Chrisman and Holland & Hart partner Tony Shaheen obtained the first ever defense verdict in a case brought under Rogers v. Westerman Farm Co., a landmark Colorado Supreme Court decision.

In addition to royalty disputes, Mr. Chrisman has defended natural gas producers against allegations of mismeasurement, mineral trespass and surface damages.

Before arriving at Holland & Hart, Mr. Chrisman clerked for the Honorable Allison H. Eid of the Colorado Supreme Court. Before his clerkship, Mr. Chrisman practiced in the trial group of a Denver law firm.
