Mr. Combs brings extensive business immigration law experience to the firm's immigration practice. Prior to joining Holland & Hart, he was a partner at an immigration boutique firm in Denver. Mr. Combs has extensive experience helping employers to develop streamlined processes for permanent residency applications and nonimmigrant visa petitions and working with them to implement successful employment verification compliance programs. His background includes technical and business knowledge, which is beneficial given the occupational bases of many employment based immigration applications.
Mr. Combs is also involved with the special immigration concerns and programs available for Southeast Asians stemming from the conflict in Vietnam over 30 years ago. He regularly acts as a mentor to lawyers of the American Immigration Lawyers Association on visa processing and representation issues in Vietnam and has assisted AILA in drafting comments to proposed regulations implementing some of the special legislation for that population.
Mr. Combs is admitted to practice in Colorado.
