Mr. Steiner has been practicing law for more than 25 years with a practice emphasizing the acquisition, disposition, development and financing of real estate. He has an extensive resort practice, including ski and golf resorts in Colorado, California, Vermont and New Zealand. He also has significant corporate law experience, and advises clients frequently in choice of entity, corporate, partnership and limited liability company organizational matters and represents clients in joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Steiner's practice has included many highly complex real estate and corporate transactions, including representation of the bank group financing Colorado's largest homebuilder, the joint venture developing the headquarters building of a major airline, one of Boulder's largest employers for approval of its planned unit development, and development of the Breckenridge ski area base. Mr. Steiner is a member of the real estate and corporate practice groups, heads the firm's Resorts, Lodging and Leisure Industry Group and is the Administrative Partner for Holland & Hart's Boulder office.

Mr. Steiner is a frequent lecturer on topics related to real estate, real estate financing and choice of entity law. He chairs an annual seminar on Real Estate Development for CLE International and speaks regularly at the Colorado Bar Association's Real Estate Symposium and Business Law Institute and other continuing legal education and business seminars.
