Mr. Thomas has extensive experience in employment-based immigration law and manages the firm's immigration practice. He advises and represents companies in the preparation of employment-based nonimmigrant petitions (e.g., B, E, H, L, O, P, R, and TN petitions), labor certification (PERM) applications, immigrant petitions (all preference categories), and adjustment of status and consular processing applications. He also assists individuals with family-based petitions and naturalization applications.
Mr. Thomas represents companies undergoing immigration-related investigations, including I-9 audits, public access file reviews, SEVIS evaluations, onsite inspections, and a variety of other government-initiated procedures. In addition, to prepare companies for the possibility of such investigations, he helps corporate clients in their efforts to establish successful compliance programs.
Mr. Thomas has published numerous articles and frequently lectures on immigration issues to educate attorneys, corporate management, human resource managers, and the general community.
