EXPERIENCE

Mr. Gordon's practice focuses on the construction and commercial real estate industries. By working in these related areas, Mr. Gordon understands the interrelationship between the long-term real estate development process and construction.

Construction. As a member of Holland and Hart's Construction Practice Group, Mr. Gordon prepares, defends, and litigates construction claims. Mr. Gordon's practice also involves representing clients in complex construction appeals. In addition to his litigation activities, Mr. Gordon is involved in project development early on, counseling and representing project owners, design professionals, and general contractors in the drafting and negotiating of design and construction contracts for a variety of project-delivery systems.

Mr. Gordon is the author of "Construction Law in Colorado," a blog that provides insight on key cases and developments relevant to construction law in Colorado.

Mr. Gordon was elected for inclusion in Super Lawyers' Rising Stars 2009 for Construction Litigation.

Commercial Real Estate. Mr. Gordon also represents real estate developers in litigation matters, and specializes in removing obstacles to the development and use of real property. Mr. Gordon's real estate litigation practice also includes representing commercial landlords in landlord/tenant litigation, and representing property owners and developers in eminent domain matters.

Electronic Discovery and New Media. Mr. Gordon is the partner liaison for Holland & Hart's Practice Support group, which manages electronic discovery for the firm. He is a frequent lecturer on electronic discovery and litigation holds.
