Mr. Abbott is of Counsel and joined Holland & Hart in 1989. Since joining the firm he has practiced in the areas of environmental law, environmental litigation, insurance coverage litigation,personal injury litigation and general commercial litigation.
Mr. Abbott has experience in several jury trials involving insurance coverage for environmental cleanup costs for a major manufacturing company and has tried a securities case to the U.S. District Court. He has litigation experience involving issues under several federal statutes, including RCRA, CERCLA, and major litigation under the False Claim Act.
Mr. Abbott is admitted to practice before the Colorado Bar, the United States District Court, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
