Ms. Falzone began her legal career in the early 1980s, specializing in insurance defense work. After assisting with the defense of a negligence suit involving a large hotel complex, she left the legal field to manage the hotel property. Ms. Falzone returned to her paralegal profession several years later, working exclusively in the litigation of personal injury claims, FELA actions and worker's compensation matters. Since joining Holland & Hart LLP in 1991, Ms. Falzone has specialized in general, commercial and bankruptcy litigation, labor law, business transactions, natural resources and environmental litigation.
Since 1995, Ms. Falzone has been the corporate/natural resources paralegal for the Cheyenne Office, specializing in business and real estate transactions and incorporations, as well as a wide variety of financial collection activities, including statutory foreclosures involving residential real property, and judicial foreclosures of motels, restaurants and other commercial properties. In addition, she works extensively in the bankruptcy litigation field, principally large Chapter 11 and 13 cases, and before the County and State Boards of Equalization in appeals of ad valorem and severance tax assessments. For the past three years, she has worked primarily on wind farm projects.
