Mr. Stoffel is a member of the Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Group and focuses his practice on a broad range of energy, telecommunications, and utilities matters. He counsels clients through virtually all stages of public utilities matters, including energy and utility issues, administrative proceedings, demand side management, legislation, capital structure, regulatory litigation, rate principles, rate of return, public convenience applications, eligible telecommunication carrier applications, and tariff issues. Mr. Stoffel's clients include independent power producers, large electric customers, renewable energy companies, natural gas local distribution companies and pipelines, telecommunications service providers, cable companies, and various electric consumer coalitions across the Mountain West.
In addition, Mr. Stoffel has experience with a variety of business and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and the development and financing of energy projects.
Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Mr. Stoffel interned at the firm in the Project Development and Finance practice group.
Mr. Stoffel is admitted to practice in Colorado.
