With a background in electrical engineering and law, Mr. Potter offers his clients both sound counsel and a technical depth of experience. Mr. Potter is a registered patent attorney who writes patent applications and office actions, and his experience includes both hardware design and software development.
Before coming to Holland & Hart, Mr. Potter worked as a patent attorney for a wind turbine company and as a patent agent for a patent law office in Salt Lake City. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Potter was a hardware design engineer and software developer for Enterasys Networks and the Department of Defense.
