Holland & Hart Receives Chevron's 2015 Law Firm Diversity Recognition Award

Holland & Hart LLP is pleased to announce that the firm is a recipient of Chevron Law Function’s 2015 Law Firm Diversity Recognition Award. Chevron annually recognizes their law firm partners who have distinguished themselves by demonstrating commitment to diversity.

“We are honored to receive this award from Chevron, a leader in diversity worldwide,” said firm chair Liz Sharrer. “Diversity has always been part of our core values at Holland & Hart. It is imperative to offer our clients the greater creativity and innovation that comes from having a diverse team, so we can continue to help them achieve successful outcomes.”

Holland & Hart is one of three law firms that were recognized at an award ceremony on July 1. Additionally, Chevron will donate $5,000 in Holland & Hart's name to a non-profit legal organization. The firm has selected the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) in support of their advocacy work for the expanded hiring, retention, and promotion of minority attorneys in corporate law departments and the law firms that serve them. MCCA research addresses issues of race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability status, and generational differences that impact the legal profession’s workforce.

Holland & Hart has had a strong commitment to diversity for over 25 years, having formed the firm’s diversity committee in the late 1980s. The firm has been a leader in promoting diversity within the legal and business communities and continues to increase minority representation in hiring, retention, and promotion. The firm is the founding law firm for the Colorado Pledge to Diversity 1L Program, is a board representative for the Center for Legal Inclusiveness, and supports numerous minority bar associations.
