EXPERIENCE
Mr. Hall practices primarily in the areas of labor and employment law. He provides litigation defense and extensive preventative counseling to clients in all areas of labor and employment law.
Mr. Hall has significant experience litigating and guiding clients through the complex interaction between the American With Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and workers' compensation. He also has significant litigation experience handling all forms of discrimination and harassment cases under Title VII and state anti-discrimination laws, as well as individual and class action wage and hour cases. He regularly handles disputes involving trade secrets, wrongful termination, defamation, workplace violence, and non-competition agreements. Additionally, he provides advice and litigation defense to local governments and school districts in connection with employment disputes.
Mr. Hall frequently conducts training in all areas of labor and employment law for the University of Nevada, Reno, Lorman Education Services, NBI, and Sterling Education. He is one of the firm's most sought-after speakers and frequently conducts extensive in-house training. Mr. Hall is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Nevada and California, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Hall has co-authored numerous articles analyzing new developments in labor and employment law and providing preventative information to clients. Mr. Hall has also co-authored an article on the potential pitfalls of Nevada's new minimum wage law (Northern Nevada Business Weekly, February 5, 2007). Further, he has been quoted on numerous occasions in the local newspapers: In Business in Las Vegas; Reno Gazette Journal; and Business Press.
