Sarah Kinnick Hilty

Sarah Kinnick Hilty is Chief Counsel, Corporate Transactions for CH2M HILL Companies, Ltd., a Fortune 500, US $6 Billion+ global engineering, construction and project management company.

Ms. Hilty has 15 years experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and general corporate matters. As Chief Counsel, Corporate Transactions, she is responsible for providing legal support for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, equity investments, treasury and finance activities, real estate, intellectual property, and other general corporate matters. She has supported CH2M HILL in its acquisition of Lockwood Greene (over 2,000 employees) and VECO Corporation (over 4,000 employees). Most recently, Ms. Hilty supported the corporate M&A team in the bid for Scott Wilson plc, a UK public company, the divestiture of a CH2M HILL business group to a private equity firm, and the refinancing of its $600 million senior unsecured credit facility.

Prior to joining CH2M HILL, Sarah was a partner with Hogan Lovells (formerly Hogan & Hartson) and spent 10 years practicing in the finance and business group. Her practice concentrated primarily on the areas of mergers and acquisitions, strategic joint ventures, and corporate finance. She also advised clients regarding general corporate matters including commercial contract negotiations, formation of new business entities, and general corporate governance matters.

Ms. Hilty holds a J.D. with distinction from Stanford Law School and a B.S., Business Administration (summa cum laude) from the University of Colorado-Boulder.
